Life or Death

to all of us who choose to use creativity to express ourselves. this is a reminder. we can ( and do) express life or death with our art. . Example: i know an artist who is quite successful. she has a gallery and even does vollunteer work. she goes into schools and teaches art. she is very sad about pollution and the state the earth is in. she teaches the children how to make very realistic fish skeletons. this teaches the children what we will pass on to their children if they don't do something about it. i say her perspective is wrong. why not teach them to make beautiful ,colorful fish.? lets teach them what the earth CAN look like if they do something about it! then plant a tree together ,or clean a beach as a class project. does your music as a whole, express hope? do your pictures suggest darkness or light? when someone leaves with a piece of your creativity, what do they leave with? what are you wanting them to leave with? there is enough darkness and difficulty in this world already. if we can encourage others, why not do it? plus, if you are a student, and child of the Ultimate Creator, i believe it is your responsibility! just a reminder...( and I know that there is a time and place for showing the dark side of life, just not the majority of the time!) dawne
