How to get free alfalfa for your bunnies

So if you only have a couple of bunnies you wont need a whole bale of alfalfa. You also dont want to buy those super expensive bags at the pet store! Go to your local feed store to get your food. Its cheaper. Then since you are supporting them, nicely ask them if you can collect the extra alfalfa that falls out of the bales. There is usually 6 to 8 inches on the floor around them!
