We've been to Oxford before but it was as a tourist. This time it was as a local.

Let me tell you abt. Jez & Miriam. She is an amazing songwriter. Very gifted at creating a picture and a lovely voice as well. He is a musician and i mean, if he touches an instrument he excels at it. He is a composer as well. We first got to know them when they came to play our house. It was love @ first sight. We stayed up late talking and did so for a couple of days!
They are our kind of people! Unique, insightful, minds and creative souls....
They live downtown Oxford. Here we are @ Eagle & Child. Its where the "Inklings" would hang out. The Inklings were a group of like minded brilliants who got together to challenge and support each other. ( Included was Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, among others).
The locals know it as "The Bird & Baby".
I feel Jez & Miriam are that for us. What a refreshing time! Here we are with their band. They were preparing to play a huge show, on stage with other greats like Eric Clapton....
Of course we had to picnic @ Christ Church. Home of Alice & Wonderland. She is my daughters favorites, & one of mine as well. Lewis Carol ( pen name) was the Dean of Christ Church and told Alice stories which she asked Him to write down. The rest is history.
Some people know it as where much of Harry Potter took place.
We also got to see ( again) the Church where Shakespeare dedicated his god daughter. I will add a link so you can check out our friends music!
